My first wedding of 2018 definitely started the year off with a bang! Jess' extremely calm personality was such a refreshing sight, she helped her bridesmaids with their makeup after their hair was perfected by the hair boss Jess Pouchet. Everyone got ready in the same room, family and friends were buzzing around the house speaking German, English, Aussie, Trini slang. I knew Jess would make a gorgeous bride but when I saw the Suzanne Harward STUNNER hanging up, I got a case of the butterflies for sure. The decor was perfectly suited to their relaxed vibe as a couple. Fresh coconuts as you entered, walking through a stunning tropical leafy arch by the extremely talented Amanda Drew at Flower Bar at Drew Manor. Huge shout out to their amazing planner Laura Mendes for creating this couple's dream wedding!
Their ceremony was officiated by their best friend Nakita, who couldn't have done a better job, adding her personal touches to an already intimate day. Bougainvillea petals flew through the air as they made their way down their aisle, (THE BEST EXIT EVER!), tears of joy flooded the rest of the day. We walked over to their neighbour's lot of land to catch the amazing afternoon light and basked in the sea breeze from below. To put the icing on the cake, Jess surprised Josh with the band The Carter's, as they had their first dance song to one of my personal favourite Neil Young songs. The speeches were sweet and short, and the night kicked off into a full blown dance party! What an absolutely amazing day. Congrats again Jess & Josh and thank you for allowing me to capture your love!
